Do you love the outdoors? Are you a sports enthusiast? Or are you simply looking for a beautiful place to hang out with your friends, family, and even your pets? If so, the Aurora Sports Park is the place to be. We love to combine a day at the park with an evening of shopping at the Southlands Mall in Aurora!

Where Is It Located?
The Aurora Sports Park is located at 19300 E. Colfax Ave. Aurora, Colorado.

How Do We Get There?
No matter where you will be coming from, here are the simple directions to help you get to Aurora Sports Park.

From I-70, exit south on Tower Rd and turn left at Colfax Ave. Aurora Sports Park is 0.5 miles on the right.

From Parkside Animal Health Center (ParksideAHC.com) get onto I-225 and exit east Colfax.

From Pena Boulevard, exit South at Airport Rd. and turn left at Colfax Ave. Aurora Sports Park is 1.5 miles on the right.

From E-470, take E-470 to I-70 west and exit at Colfax Ave. Aurora Sports Park is 1.5 miles on the left.

From I-225, exit east on Colfax Avenue Aurora Sports Park is 3.5 miles on the right.

What Are The Park’s Specifications?

It is a site that spans 220 acres and hosts competitions from a local up to the national level. Some of the sports activities being held here include cross country, football, rugby, and lacrosse. It boasts of its professionally maintained fields and facilities that are able to cater 350,000 visitors per year.

What Features Does It Include?
The Sports Park offers 12 baseball/softball fields and 27 soccer/multi-use fields. With its recent expansion, four well-lit multiuse synthetic turf playing fields are added. There are also 350 more parking spaces to accommodate the growing number of visitors. Seats for spectators with benches is provided as well as picnic tables to ensure that the visitors are well-accommodated. It also has walls that are low seating and landscape berms. A restroom available throughout the season, as well as vending kiosks, is provided to ensure the hygiene and comfort of its visitors. In support of Mother Earth, different kinds of trees and shrubs that help conserve water can be found at the sports park.

Other features include the five concession areas where visitors can purchase food, drinks, and other products. It has four playgrounds especially made for the children to run around and play. There are seven picnic shelters (three can be found within complexes and 4 in the park area). Restrooms are conveniently located throughout the sports park.

Are Pets Allowed Inside the Sports Park?
Dogs are allowed in most areas of the sports park. It is a requirement that they must be on a leash. However, pets are strictly forbidden in the baseball/softball complexes to ensure the safety of the visitors and maintenance of the facilities.
